Life is a journey

Have we ever thought that this life is the right path is a journey? Have we ever contemplated life in this world is nothing but a journey to Allah Ta`ala?

Do not you remember the words of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)

"Every day everybody travels his life, out bet him! There are those who free themselves and some who harm them! "(Hadith Imam Muslim's History).

Therefore God in His word explains,

On the day when treasures and sons are useless,

except those who face God with a saved heart (Ash-Shu'araa`: 88-89).

And Allah Ta'ala says also:

فمن كان يرجو لقاء ربه فليعمل عملا صالحا ولا يشرك بعبادة ربه أحدا

"Whoever hopes for an encounter with his Lord, let him work righteous deeds and not associate Him with anything in worshiping his Lord" (Al-Kahf: 110).

It is thus this life, which is hoped and which is destined to be God Almighty, encounters Him, faces him and sees His face and seeks His approval.

The true way of life there is only one

One day Abdullah ibn Mas'ud radhiyallahu 'anhu recalled,

خط لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خطا ثم قال هذا سبيل الله ثم خط خطوطا عن يمينه وعن شماله ثم قال هذه سبل و على كل سبيل منها شيطان يدعو إليه ثم قرأ {وأن هذا صراطي مستقيما فاتبعوه ولاتتبعوا السبل فتفرق بكم عن سبيله}

"Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam made a straight line for us, then said,' This is the way of Allah ', then he made another line on the left and right side of the line, then said,' These are the (many) . On every road there is a shrine that invites to that path, 'then he read,

{وأن هذا صراطي مستقيما فاتبعوه ولاتتبعوا السبل فتفرق بكم عن سبيله}

'And that (which We command) is my righteous path, then follow him and follow not the (other) paths, for they scatter you from His way' "([Al An 'am: 153] Hadith saheeh narrated by Ahmad and others)

The exegete texts explain that in this verse, Allah Tabaraka wa Ta'ala uses the plural form when mentioning the forbidden paths of humans follow it, ie, in order to explain the branches and the number of avenues of apostasy. Whereas in the word about the way of truth, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala used the singular form in that verse, ie {سبيله}. for indeed the path of truth is one, and not spelled out. (Sittu Duror, p.52).

Imam Ibnul Qayyim rahimahullah said, "And this is due, because the path that leads (someone) to Allah is only one. That is something with it, God sent His Apostles and sent down His books. No one can reach him, except through this path "(Sittu Duror, p.53).

Know the path of one truth

If you want to know what is the path of truth that there is only one such? The answer is the way that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam once traveled, that is the only way that can lead a servant to Allah Azza wa Jalla. Imam Ibnul Qayyim rahimahullah once explained the danger of not knowing this path of truth, he said,

"Ignorance of the path of this truth and its obstacles, and not understanding its intentions and purposes, will result in great weariness, besides that the benefits are little" (Sittu Duror, page 54). Because it is so important to know the path of truth, then let us study the path of truth that there is only one, which all Muslims agree on.

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam has explained the straight path in his words sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam,

"I left you something. If you cling to him, you will not go astray forever, that is the Book of Allah and my Sunnah "(narrated by Imam Malik and others, charged by Shaykh Al-Albani).

Yes, the only one truth is the way of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam), both of which are straight paths. As explained by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud Radhiyallahu 'anhu,

"The straight path, the path left by the Messenger of Allah for us" (Atsar saheeh, issued Ath Thabari and others).

Where is the argument, that the Qur'an and As-Sunnah is a straight path?

The Quran's proof is a straight path

Allah Ta'ala says:

"They said: O our people! Lo! We have heard the Book which was revealed after Moses, which justified the books that were before him leading to righteousness and to the straight path" (Al-Ahqaf: 30).

The As-Sunna prologue is a straight path

Allah Ta'ala says:

"And verily thou doest guide the straight path" (Asy-Syuuraa: 52).

Thus the Qur'an and As-Sunnah is a straight path, this is the only way of truth, both of them essentially a unity, equally the revelation of Allah Ta'ala.

It is obligatory to cling to the Qur'an and As-Sunnah

We are obliged to cling to the Qur'an and As-Sunnah, because we are obliged to obey Allah and His Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alaihi wa sallam), his argument is the word of Allah Ta'ala:

يا أيها الذين آمنوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم

"O ye who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Him), and Ulil amri among you" (An-Nisaa ': 59).

Obeying God is by sticking to the Koran and obeying the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam by clinging to the sunnah he sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam.

Note:

Sunnah Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is the source of Islamic law

Al-Hadith is hujjah / dalil, as the Qur'an, because both are equally revelations from God.

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

ألا إني أوتيت القرآن ومثله معه

"Know that I am given (revelation) of the Qur'an and (revelation) which is like it with it (As-Sunnah)" (Abu Dawud and Ahmad, while this lafadz is lafadz his narration, this Hadith is sincerely Shaykh Al-Albani).

The essence of holding fast to the sunna is obedience to Allah and practicing the Qur'an, for Allah says in the Qur'an:

مَنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ

“Barangsiapa yang mentaati Rasul itu, sesungguhnya ia telah mentaati Allah” [An-Nisaa`:80].

As-Sunnah Function

The Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is essentially the same as the Book of God, which is equally as the revelation of God. The function of the sunna as an explanation for the Book of Allah 'Azza wa Jalla. In fact, the best creature that interprets the Koran is the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam, as the word of Allah Azza wa Jalla..

"And We sent unto you the Quran, that ye should explain unto mankind what was revealed unto them" (An Nahl: 44).

As-Sunnah explains what is in the Qur'an is still global by elaborating, such as the problem of prayer, fasting, zakat, pilgrimage, and others. So As-Sunnah who saheeh will never conflict with the Qur'an. Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam explains the meaning of the Qur'an and he has given an example of how to practice it, so that all verses of the Qur'an become clear meaning and practice for this people. Even a Muslim does not have to wait to know the arguments of the Qur'an in performing a worship, if he already knows one of the arguments of the hadeeth that saheeh, as long as the hadith is enough to show to a form / ordinance of worship, then it can immediately practice the hadith.

Kesimpulan

  1. the path of truth is only one, that is the way of Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. Since both are both from God and the As-Sunnah function describes the Qur'an and details the global from it, the nature of both is a unity, a path of truth.

  2. The Qur'an and As-Sunnah are the straight path.
  3. We are obliged to cling to the Qur'an and As-Sunnah.The Qur'an and As-Sunnah are both sources of Islamic law, because they are both God's revelations.
